Having trouble sleeping? 

Intoduction

 

Everyone always talks about how sleep is super important because it not only helps us to stay focused during the day but it also helps our mental health. What do you do when you are stressed? You take a nap. You were crying all day and what do you do after? You take a nap. Do you have a headache? You take a nap. Sleeping is like the magic medicine that makes you feel better after a long day, a long cry, or when you are experiencing a headache. It even helps you when you are sick! How cool is that! But what about those who struggle with sleeping? What happens to our body when we can’t sleep? How does that affect our mental health? Many people around the world suffer through paramonias, insomnia, and this one doesn’t affect that many people but I find it very interesting, bruxism. These topics are interesting to me because so many people have experienced it and I wonder why. What happens in our brain that does not let us sleep? To add on,it becomes so tough when they become an everyday thing. You become irritated, short temper, and emotional, because sleep is not happening and it takes a toll on you mentally. That is why I am doing research on these sleep disorders.
